Anthony, Jenn's Boy

Anthony was born 5-26-98
Passed at 18 5-2-17
Accidental Fentanyl overdose
He was dragged outside and left in a yard to die by people he trusted and knew his whole life.

My angel loved surfing, skateboarding, his family.
He would give the shirt off of his back.
He was a momma's boy for sure

Anthony has 3 older sisters who he loved so much; Alecs, 29 (26 when he passed), her husband Chris, Savannah, 25 (22 when he passed), Savannah’s husband Ryan was very close to my boy, Tessa, 25 (22 when he passed), her fiancé Dustin, all were very close with their brother. Anthony adored his nephews, Carson was 7, and Clayton was 6, and Ryder was 1, (the only ones he was alive to meet), and his death has affected these lil boys terribly. His niece Sofia, and nephew Hudson who is severely disabled, he never got to meet. Eric, my husband was very close to Anthony. My mom and dad, Anne and Jim (dad just passed in October) were too. As you can see we’re a very tight knit family and we are all suffering over the loss of Anthony.

I have a roadrunner that comes to visit almost daily since the day Anthony passed. That bird brings so much comfort to me and shows up more when I’m struggling.

2 Days after Anthony passed a group of his friends, my husband and I, were sitting by the tree in the spot where they found Anthony. We were telling the story of how my son would always say “I’m brown on the outside” because he was dark skinned “but I’m white on the inside” …..and all of a sudden this beautiful bronze butterfly with white edges swarmed all around my head and all around his friend’s heads and they all said “Oh my God it’s Anthony!”

Since that day, that butterfly shows up every now and then. It comes to visit us all ……. even though we all live in separate  locations!
